The article is a bit exaggerated. I don't mind being a guinea pig but at the same time, I think it was a bad idea because many students are misusing the devices given to us. They use it to text, call, play games, and do anything they want as if on a regular computer. They aren't blocked. They basically handed us another distraction to have in and out of school. It helps me because when I need to know synonyms for words, instead of using a dictionary, I have everything I need on the tablet. I also can use the graphing calculator application to do Pre-Calculus homework. I like what my school was trying to do with the tablets but they should've did a better job on the security on the devices.
